Student Technology Assistance Center (STAC) The Student Technology Assistance Center (STAC) offers peer-to-peer instruction on a variety of software applications for undergraduate, graduate and distance students. Assistance is available by appointment, through drop-in-visits, one- on-one, in small groups or through class visits.

Background Started in 2000 in the Wm. T. Jerome Library Moved to Saddlemire Student Services in 2002 Relocated to Hayes Hall (ITS) in 2007 In 2013 moved back to Wm. T. Jerome Library

Office/Group/Organization Disability Services Graduate College Senior Adult Grants for Educations (SAGE) How it works with STAC Students in this program automatically qualify for our laptop loan program Formatting & Acrobat Professional assistance Tutoring for all of the software programs offered

Office/Group/Organization Learning Commons “Our Services” Group Digital Humanities How it works with STAC They are subject based, we are services based, these needs overlap. Meet each semester to discuss services offered, new ideas & upcoming technologies. Student coursework that lacked support for these type of projects.
