Experience Having the bay was a big experience for me because it was like having another thing to care about in school and at home to have it in a secure place from my little brother who I think destroys everything he touches. Having the baby was a good project to help me see what it would be like to have a real baby. Also it made me see what would happen if I left him alone because other teachers tell my health teacher about so I need to think a lot about it. In school it was more of like an obstacle that I always had to deal with because I must have the baby at all times. At home it was easy but when I read that we needed to take a picture 3 AM in the morning I was like what? This project helped me be responsible and it also helped me see up in the future what things I must be aware of because babies do wake up around 3 AM. It was cool having like this baby at home, well I didn’t look at it like a real baby but having to take pictures of it doing things with me made it look like it if was a real baby. In school, at first I was like embarrassed to be with that flower bag that looked like a baby but then I got used to it, it was no big deal. It was like having a normal lunch with friends. Also I saw the effects in the schedules. A baby would totally turn my school schedule upside down since he sleeps and eats when I have classes or lunch. It would disrupt everything. Since they can’t wait, I must do changes if the baby was real of course. In the end this was a good project to do, I felt like if the lesson was to learn what would happen if you do the mistake to have a baby during your high school time. It would totally change your life and of your peers. Everything would be more complicated and things would need to be way more organized and you would need to give up important things. This is why I think this project was a good idea and I hope Ms. Moe keeps on doing it for the next years she has students.
