A. Revelation 2:2-3. 1. Praised for toil and perseverance. 2. Revelation 2:4-5 a) Abram “remembered from where he had fallen.” (1) Back to Bethel. (2) Called on - Lord.

(a) Brought Abram back to “center”. IV. Genesis 13:5-7 A. Pharaoh paid him well for Sarai. 1. He picked up a maiden = Hagar.

a) “Egypt” = the world. B. Abram and Lot wealthy. 1. Perizzites in land. a) Pagans watching Abram and Lot. (1) People always watching Christians.

V. Genesis 13:8-9 A. Romans 12:14-20 1. Abram gives Lot his choice. a) Did not get here without the Lord! b) Pride and selfishness look for greenest pastures.

(1) Proverbs 14:7- 12 (2) “True riches” where the Lord wanted Abram. VI. Genesis 13:10-13 A. Lot saw with his eyes! 1. Egypt = THE FLESH, THE WORLD AND SIN!

a) Lot moves - “sin-city.” b) Appears Abram made bad decision. (1) Abram stuck in barren land! (a) Psalm 84:10 (b) Psalm 118:8 (c) Psalm 118:9 (d) Psalm 119:72 (e) Proverbs 15:16

(f) Abram knows the Lord will take care of him! VII. CONCLUSION A. Genesis 13:14-18 1. The Lord restates his promise.
