Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship Program To be eligible, an applicant must be: A current employee of a company affiliated with the collection industry (ACA membership not required); or, A person employed in a collection or credit management function; or, A dependent child of such.

© 2006 ACA International. All Rights Reserved. Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship Program 3 scholarships awarded each year: one first-place recipient of $3,000 and two runners-up at $1,000 each.

Recipients must enroll for a minimum of 12 credit hours at an accredited college, university, vocational-technical college or community college within 12 months following receipt of the award. Previous recipients of an ACAEF Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship are eligible to reapply; however, preference will be given to new applicants. Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship Program

Selection criteria Independent committee appointed to select winners All applicants will be notified of the status of their application Recipients will be selected based on: A 700-1500 word essay on financial literacy Cumulative grade point average Official transcript is required Loomer-Mortenson Scholarship Program

Important details Deadline for application – Must be postmarked no later than June 1, 2009 Winners will be selected by July 1st Awarded funds will be mailed to the college or university at which recipients are enrolled.
