4 No real understanding of how we spend money now No working arrangements or partnerships with the commercial world New technical systems have been installed with little or no regard to existing schemes SECURITY AUDIT Systems of working together need improvement CCTV Alarms Access control

16 Eccles Precinct/Little Hulton Before CCTV  High levels of Thefts and Burglaries  Youth Nuisances  Aggravated Assault  Violent Disorder  Vehicle Crime  Vandalism and Graffiti  Threatening behaviour towards shop owners  Fear of crime  No radio contact  Hard to catch prosecute criminals with no evidence  High levels of anti social behaviour  Quality of life of residents reduced due to result of behaviour I.e Bus companies taken off estates due to threats to staff

17 Eccles Precinct/Little Hulton After CCTV  Cameras installed in towers  Cameras supported by radio scheme linked to Eccles Monitoring facility  Shop Keepers feel more secure  Reduction in the number of youth nuisances – ASBO’s  Success in providing evidence for police prosecutions  Increased confidence by the community in dealing with crime  Improved quality of life for the residents  Removal of the need for members of the community to give evidence at the courts Reduction of 74% in recorded crime figures
