5 Works Financed from Funds of HDF Peace-Keeping Activity, Iraq (2003-2004) Works Financed from Funds of HDF Peace-Keeping Activity, Iraq (2003-2004) Hungarian Defence Forces took part in international peace-keeping missions in Iraq. Currus carried out the preparation for mission of the equipment, the necessary modifications of the equipment as that was requested and the training and education of the crews in Gödöllő, at facility of Currus. Experts of Currus carried out field repairs and maintenance, power generator installations and periodic maintenance upon requests of HDF in Iraq, at the Hungarian Camp. HDF has been taking part in peace keeping missions in former Yugoslavian region at several places. Experts of Currus have been carrying out field repairs and maintenance, power generator installations and periodic maintenance upon requests of HDF, at the Hungarian Camps. 7 Works Finaced from Funds of HDF Peace-keeping Actions, Afghanistan (from 2005) Works Finaced from Funds of HDF Peace-keeping Actions, Afghanistan (from 2005) HDF has been taking part in peace keeping missions in Afghanistan. This participation is becoming wider recently. Currus carried out the preparation for mission of the equipment, the necessary modifications of the equipment as that was requested (i.e. protection level improvement of MB G-270 vehicles) and the training and education of the crews in Gödöllő, at facility of Currus. Experts of Currus have been carrying out field repairs and maintenance upon requests of HDF in Afghanistan, at the Hungarian Camp. Income 2005 - 2007: 139.2 M HUF Income 2005 - 2007: 139.2 M HUF

8 Works Financed from International Funds Kaposvár Operation Joint Endeavor (1996 -1998) Works Financed from International Funds Kaposvár Operation Joint Endeavor (1996 -1998) An expert group of Currus carried out the 10, 20, 30, sometimes 40, 50 level maintenance of US Army’s equipment that were withdrawn from the combat area. This task was accomplished in Hungary, Kaposvár, at a base of the US Army. Income 1996 - 1998: 738.8 M HUF Income 1996 - 1998: 738.8 M HUF

9 Works Financed from National Funds Small Arms Destruction, Macedonia (2001) Works Financed from National Funds Small Arms Destruction, Macedonia (2001) Experts of Currus carried out the destruction of the collected small arms near Krivolak during operation „Task Force Harvest” in a 5 week time frame. That task was accomplished with the help of mobile workshops of Currus, under the NATO command. Income: 404.0 M HUF Income: 404.0 M HUF

11 Experiences, Results -Currus is able and capable to carry out its tasks to support logistically the international Hungarian troops during their missions resulted the NATO membership of Hungary, in Hungary and abroad as well. -HDF will request Currus to carry out that activities in the future as well. -Taking part in the logistic support activities helps Currus to save its military industry potentials. -Currus acquired 7-8 % of its average yearly income from that activities during the last more than 10 years. -21 % of the total income came from mission activities burdened the budget of HDF, 16 % of same was financed from national funds and 63% of same was financed from international funds.
