3 Assessment Task Your English teacher would like your group to recommend a meaningful and interesting book for the S.1 for their English lesson. You are going to discuss if the book you have just read a suitable reader for that purpose.

9 Will you recommend this book to S.1 students? Negative phrases for “NO” Too thin, too thick, too boring, too difficult to understand, the topic is too unfamiliar, too complicated for the youngsters, too outdated Not interesting enough, not easy enough not enough support, not enough pictures

10 Activity Four Think of the positive/ negative adjectives Give some examples in the book to support your adjectives

11 Is it a suitable reader for the English lesson? Reading a story book to learn English does not cost too much. Reading a story book to learn English can help youngsters to develop their creativity and imagination. It helps students to understand foreign cultures. Reading an English book is entertaining and relaxing.
