Self-financing - independence, flexibility Sustainable - improved farming techniques – organic, post-peak oil? - sustainable livelihood for farmer/grower - guaranteed market – no waste - development of resilient community networks Accessible - work shares - ‘share a share’ - Credit Unions - internal CSA loans - external funding/sponsored shares
