Flip Video reading Pupils in groups read a text and another pupil in their group films them. This process is rotated within a group. Pupils can then either view their reading as a group (on computer or tv) and evaluate/ assess or it can be done as a whole class event at the end of a lesson. I am learning to…. Question I am learning to use a range of questions to get and connect information. Working Together I can take on different roles successfully and work cooperatively within a group. I can courteously listen to others ideas and opinions. Dialogue I am learning to talk about lots of things I found out and listen to what others say in response and explain how these responses will or will not change my thinking. Imagine I am learning to imagine many ideas about what might be (fluency) from many different perspectives (flexibility). I am learning to elaborate these ideas (elaboration) Reflect I am learning to understand reflection is an important part of the learning process. I can talk about when, what and how I reflect. Connect I am learning to make more links and connections between pieces of knowledge to create new ideas or deeper understandings.
