I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. The spirit of pharmakeia is evil and demonic

What you have experienced in life determines what you see Philippians 3 SEEING FROM A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE Number One Seeing the dangers of legalism What is legalism? Substituting rules for relationship Philippians 3:2-5 “Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh. For it is we who are the circumcision, we who serve God by his Spirit, who boast in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh – though I myself have reasons for such confidence. If someone else thinks they have reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee”

What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ” ‘rubbish’ = skubalon waste dung (literally) “Life is like a vapour” (James 4:14)

Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining towards what is ahead, I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenwards in Christ Jesus.”
