13 Working with Shapes Text in Shapes Inserting multiple copies of a shape o Right-click the shape icon o Lock Drawing Mode Changing a shape o Drawing Tools Format tab o Edit Shape in Insert Shape group o Change shape option o Select Shape

14 Working with Shapes Selecting Multiple Shapes o Ctrl+click each shape o Draw marquee o Ctrl+A to select all; then Ctrl+click unwanted o Selection and Visibility Pane  Double-click a shape  Click Selection Pane in Arrange group

15 Resize Resize: Use handle at corners or middle of sides. o To maintain proportions: Hold Shift key while dragging a corner handles. o To resize from the center: Hold the Control key while dragging a corner handle. o To resize from the center and maintain proportion: Hold both the Shift and Control keys while dragging a corner handle.

16 Positioning Group: Select all and press Ctrl+G Ungroup: Select the group and press Ctrl+Shift+G Regroup: Select any object from previous group and right click. Choose Group —>Regroup Nudge or Move: Use arrow keys o Smaller increments: Hold Control key o Straight Line: Hold Shift key Coordinate Position: o Double click a shape o Click Dialog Box Launcher in Size Group o Select Position tab
