When Did they Arrive at Gallipoli 0n the 25 th of April 1915 30,638 soldiers arrived at the Dardanelles. They got sniped just as their boots touched the rocky terrain’s surface.

Who went to Gallipoli People from Britain, Australia, India, Newfoundland, New Zealand, and people from the UK went to Gallipoli to fight the Ottoman Empire, Germans and Austria-Hungary. Soldiers from New Zealand landed at a place that is now called Anzac Cove and the rest of them landed at a place called Cape Helles.
4
What were the Anzacs plan? The main aim of the landing was for the troops to take control of the Dardanelles strait and eventually they would be able to support Russia against Germany. The Anzacs other aim was to cross the peninsula and cut of all Turkish communications.

Life in The Trenches Life in the trenches was terrible because there was lice, rats, frogs and even worse stuff. There was limitation to space and slugs, horned beetles and worst of all, the smell!!!! Also food was scarce and their main diet were jam and sometimes they drank tea.
6
What weapons did they use at Gallipoli at Gallipoli they used catapults, periscope rifles, trench mortars and hand grenades. The Anzacs made hand Grenades by putting screws barbed wire nails and different types of scrap metal and explosives in jam jars. These worked like they put a piece of paper connecting to the explosives, they lit the paper and throw the jam jar across the trench and into the Turkish’s trench.
