10 Choosing a Consulting Partner Check references. Determine financial stability. Interview consulting team members. Ask lot’s of questions: –How many 11i upgrades have they implemented? –Which modules? –Extensions? –What platforms? Shop around!

11 Project Management Define project scope and stick to it! Set realistic time frames. Make deliverables part of project team members review / bonus objectives. 100% dedicated project manager, subject matter experts, and team resources. Don’t let task completion dates slide. Create detailed task check lists.

12 Oracle Technical Support Request a dedicated Oracle Support Account Manager to manage all TAR’s. Schedule weekly TAR meetings. Provide Oracle Support Account Manager with appropriate project documentation: –Project Plan. –Implementation schedule. –Create a TAR profile including: software / hardware versions, module set-up options, etc… Consider upgrading your support level to Gold or Platinum.
