Separatists Movements Separatists- when a group is fighting to separate from a country to establish their own country. American Revolution- colonist want to separate from Britain. Kurdish groups want to create their own country, separating from Turkey & Syria- Kurdistan Which group is the “terrorist” is based on perspective! Terrorist or Freedom Fighter!

International Terrorism Violent acts committed by political groups outside their country. Osama Bin Laden and his group Al-Qaeda are from the Middle East and attacked the United States on September 11, 2001.
