(Six other MCO cover 45%) TennCare funding issues  Relatively generous benefits (“as medically necessary”)  Large waiver population above Federal Medicare limits  Average TennCare patient gets 30 prescriptions/year, compared to national average of 12  McKinsey Report: “Unconstrained, TennCare will consume 90% of each new state tax dollar in the year 2008” Funded by State  Per month / per month basis  Immediate positive return for the state TennCare – Early Adopter
