2. INTRODUCTION Welcome to my portfolio conference. I have a lot of great things to share with you. Are you ready to see all of the progress that I’ve made this year?

3. READING Diary of a Wimpy Kid is one of my favorite books from this year. Do you want to hear my favorite part?

4. READING RESPONSE LOG For seatwork, we write about what we are thinking after we’ve read a book. This is my best reading response. Let me show you!

5. WRITING We’ve done all types of writing this year. My favorite kind of writing is letter writing. We read through a lot of my writing at our Author’s Tea. Would you like to see my favorite piece of writing again?

6. MATH We’ve learned a lot of new things in math. The best thing to learn about in math is measurement. I picked out a math paper to show you some of my excellent work!

7. SCIENCE AND SOCIAL STUDIES Some of the topics we’ve learned about in social studies and science are weather and history. Let me tell you about some of the information that we’ve learned. The clouds can tell if the weather is going to be bad. Tornadoes are dangerous.

8. CHECK OUT OUR ROOM Room 11 is a very fun place to be. I like the people. Let me show you some of my favorite spots!

9. ME AT SCHOOL Overall, I think I am a good and nice student. Next year in third grade, I really hope that I can get better at reading.
