Warm-Up Solve the following problem in at least two different ways. A cycle shop sells only bikes and trikes. Altogether, there are 23 seats and 50 wheels. How many bikes and how many trikes are there?

Turn to page F11-2 Solve the problem in at least two different ways, one being an algebraic equation. A math test has 25 problems. Some are worth 2 points, and some are worth 3 points. The test is worth 60 points total. Determine the number of 2-point problems and the number of 3-point problems on the test. (Taken from Holt Algebra I p. 349 #33)
