Reading- Students will compare different versions of fables and identify story elements within texts. Writing- Students will use personal experiences to develop stories. Math- Students will develop an appropriate problem-solving plan or strategy in order to solve a problem. Make sure your child does their homework each day to stay in the club! Social Studies- Students will learn important symbols, customs, and celebrations that represent American beliefs and principles. Reading- Students will learn to use strategies to support understanding of text. Writing- Students will learn to use conventions of written language to communicate clearly and effectively. Math- Students will learn to solve real-life problems involving addition and subtraction. Grandparents’ Day Celebration on Monday, September 8 th Progress reports go out on September 18 th Scholastic Book orders due September 20 th (must be a check or you can order online)
