12.  Students will read Story Town stories, reading passages from other resources, and at times, novels.  Tests will be based on cold reads and not the story from the reading book.  Comprehension will be assessed through quizzes and biweekly tests.  Vocabulary will be tested for every story. 13. SPELLING  Lists are aligned with StoryTown program  Three review or enrichment words are given with each list  Weekly dictation is given – one point per sentence.  Students may qualify for a challenge spelling list based on pre test results.
