Creating/Extending Mid-Western Region Social Media Avenues - Associates have FB Page…. -Establishing FaceBook page for current activity. Will determine ways to ensure appropriate access. - Regional Twitter Account -Encourage Chapter’s to extend National/Regional messaging. -Find ways to share chapter events closer to real time…..Great ideas/events should be celebrated/shared. - Media Feeds Monitored, but please forward coverage your chapter receives. stdemming@yahoo.com stdemming@yahoo.com -As media avenues established, info will be shared. 4. Seek Media Coverage Chapters are encouraged to seek publicity for local events Contact the National Headquarters for a quote from the National President to be included in press releases; remember the National President is the official spokesperson of the organization Share coverage with National Public Relations Committee through Regional Representative to be highlighted in national In the News section
