12. We work with area hotels to get a discounted rate for families and friends of graduating candidates and post the list on our site.

14. ► Diploma Information ► December 08 Graduates:  If you live outside of Lubbock and are not able to pick up your diploma from the registrar’s office, e-mail your school’s registrar your shipping information no later than December 1, 2008. ► Spring 09 Graduates:  Diplomas are distributed immediately following commencement at the United Spirit Arena.  If you are unable to attend commencement and pick up your diploma, you will need to come by the Registrar’s Office to pick up your diploma or submit a request on the student portal to have it mailed to you.  The online portal will not be available until December 1, 2008. All students will receive an email form Dave Carter or Margret Duran informing them that the student self- service portal is active. If no shipping address is provided by the student and the diploma is not picked up within 6 (six) weeks of their graduation date, it will be destroyed. If destroyed, the student will be responsible for paying an additional $35 for their diploma to be reprinted.
