3 DAY 1 pronoun – takes the place of one or more nouns in a sentence personal pronoun – refers to a person or thing Gigi and Mel went sledding. They went sledding. Personal pronouns include I, you, he, she, it, we, they, me, him, her, us, and them Pronouns can be singular or plural, as in I and we; he and they. An antecedent is what a pronoun refers to.
