3 Therapy Services Partnership Aims of the Project To raise the skill and competence level of Nursery Nurses, Teaching Assistants and Teachers in relation to language and communication needs Accredited 2 year course for Teaching Assistant/Nursery Nurse with York St John University

4 Therapy Services Partnership Since 2001 Over 60 primary schools and 2 secondary schools trained in 6 partnerships County Courses Research

5 Therapy Services Partnership 2007-2009 12 primary schools from across the county invited to take part, based on Foundation Stage Profile and KS 1 results Additional support from Primary National Strategy Consultant Transformation funding – Area SENCos Multi-agency programme of support for language development from 0-7 years
