Ukrainian market analysis  The first Ukrainian wind power station with 110 KW capacity was installed in Crimea in 1931  Currently wind power stations with capacities of 110 and 600 KW operate in Ukraine  In 2007 3 MW capacity was installed in Ukraine reaching cumulative capacity of 89 MW  Ukraine is ahead of Bulgaria and Hungary in terms of cumulative installed capacity, but 30 times behind France  Ukraine gets less than 1% of energy from alternative sources while Germany about 20%  The Draft Law of Ukraine on “green” tariff was passed to the parliament for the second reading  Ukraine has excellent locations for placement of wind power stations.
