Abraham’s Kids Abraham had two sons: Ishmael and Isaac Ishmael: conceived through his ‘relations’ with the slave woman named Haggar. (Not pleasing in God’s sight!) Isaac: conceived after Abraham was circumcised (sign of the covenant) with his wife, Sarah. (This is pleasing in God’s sight) Isaac is the son through whom the savior would one day come. (Muslims think that Ishmael is the chosen son through which the Promised One would come…Mohammed, the prophet)

Isaac’s Family Isaac has two sons Jacob and Esau Jacob was the younger, but received the Birthright and Blessing through conniving ways.

Jacob’s Family Has 12 sons These are known as the twelve tribes of Israel. Joseph is one of these sons.

1 st Commandment You shall have no other gods. What does this mean? We should fear, love, and trust in God above all things.

2 nd Commandment You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God. What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not curse, swear, use satanic arts, lie, or deceive by His name, but call upon it in every trouble, pray, praise, and give thanks.
