6. Rules for controlled assessments Rules about what materials and notes they may use during the writing up stage. May not complete work at home nor have access to the internet during the write-up These rules will be strictly applied. If pupils breach them they could be disqualified from a subject.

7. GCSE controlled assessments Absence causes difficulties If unwell, pupils can be supervised (probably in after school sessions) to make up the missing time. Clearly preferable that they complete the assignments immediately after the preparation work has been done in the preceding lessons.
