2 2. Flesh – a human being What are humans like? 3. Became When Jesus was born:- - Something was added to him. He was God. Now he was also human. - He is still human as well as God

3 b. But that is impossible How can the Creator become a creature? How can the all-knowing, all- powerful become limited? How can the eternal one die? How can the Holy, perfect God die on a Cross?

4 c. Why is it so special for us? 1. Revelation – we can see what God is like 2. Salvation - only God could save us - only a human could die for us 3. Identification - the supreme value of humans - God is with us
