PBSC Launch Event Date: Friday, September 21 st at 12-2PM, Moot Court Guest Speaker: Darryl Buxton from Myers Weinberg LLP, the Lawyer Supervisor for our Charter Blood Ban Project. Last year the students involved in this project began work on research for a test case to challenge Canada Blood Services’ ban on gay men donating blood. This was a unique and exciting opportunity for our students so we are pleased to have him speaking at our event.

The CHRR Speakers Bureau is looking for volunteers from any year to speak to high school classes on human rights, the Charter and Aboriginal law issues. The Career Development Office is looking for 3 rd year students to volunteer to conduct mock interviews for 1 st and 2 nd year students. You can choose to show off your hard-earned interview skills alone, or with a partner. VOLUNTEERS WANTED! When we have a 1 st or 2 nd year student wanting to experience what it’s like to have an interview as a law student, we know we can count on our 3 rd years to scare the Calvin Klein pants off of them!
