When adding logarithms of the same base, we can multiply the ‘insides’ of the logarithms.
When subtracting logarithms of the same base, we can divide the ‘insides’ of the logarithms.
Multiplying a constant by a logarithm is the same as raising the ‘inside’ to that same constant.
