We have had a few good years!! u Cadre - 1996 u Select - 1998 u Strongarm - 2000 u Valor - 2001 u 22% of active ingredients since 1996 Not bad for a minor crop!!!!

What’s in the pipeline?? u not much. It is getting very dry. u Spartan u Cobra u Will they ever make it? u Do we need them?

What do the growers want/need? u cheaper weed control strategies u $25 weed control (Is it possible?) u Why? 4 r eductions in peanut price (2002 Farm Bill) 4 34% of operating costs spent on agri- chemicals

Herbicide Resistant Weeds u will get worse before it gets better u ALS resistance confirmed u probably have DNA resistance u continued/increased use of glyphosate u Do we have a plan?
