4 What is the money used for? YOU! The money is spent on FFA Members and Ag Students Chapter Activities Tools and Equipment Awards Applications Leadership and Judging Contests Travel, Conventions and Camps More!

5 High Sales Reward - What’s in it for me? The top FFA member seller will receive an official FFA jacket and be recognized with an award at the Annual Chapter FFA Banquet. The Top non FFA member seller will get his or her FFA dues paid.

6 Individual Sales Rewards Sell at least 1 package and receive a Merit$! Sell at least 5 packages and receive a free River Star Farms jerky stick too! Sell at least 10 packages and receive 2 free River Star Farms jerky sticks and a Merit$! MERIT$

7 Individual Sales Rewards Sell at least 15 packages and receive a free FFA tie or scarf, plus 2 jerkies and a Merit$! Sell at least 20 packages and receive a free FFA key chain or lanyard, plus tie/scarf, 2 jerkies and a Merit$!

8 Individual Sales Rewards Sell at least 30 packages and receive a free FFA hoodie, plus FFA key chain or lanyard, tie/scarf, 2 jerkies and a Merit$!

9 Individual Sales Rewards Everyone receives 1 hour in your SAE for every 5 packages sold!

10 Who should I sell to? Teachers Family & extended family Friends & Neighbors Ask your parents to take your order form to their work place. Local Businesses

11 Tips & Tricks Present yourself well, dress neat, clean, and consider FFA attire. Speak clearly and with confidence. Follow the Easy Steps to A Sell.

12 Easy Steps to a Sale Introduce yourself and who you represent. Tell them why you are trying to raise money. Tell them what you are selling and ask them to look at the brochure(product sells itself). Offer thanks whether they purchase or not.

13 Important Dates to Remember Order Forms must be turned back in to your teacher by (Friday, October 16). The approximate delivery date is beginning to mid November, before Thanksgiving.

14 Collection Method Collect the money as you take the orders. Checks must be made payable to: Shoemaker FFA Be sure to turn cash and checks in to the school cashier as often as possible and receive a receipt.

16 How to properly fill out the information on the student order form: Instruct your students to fill in: - Student’s Name - Student Phone Number - Grade - Teacher: Jamie Stevens - Date to Return Order Form: Monday, October 21 - Make Checks Payable to: Shoemaker FFA

17 Properly Recording an Order How to mark each order. Have students use NUMBERS, not Xs or Checks in the column boxes for each product. Total columns both vertically and horizontally to check for accuracy. This will make summarizing much easier.
