Development of a functional model for the pilot version of IPN; Involvement of new organizations-participants in the Network from the ICSTI member countries and other countries; Further developing of the network tools for promotion of innovations. Activities on establishing of the Innovation Promotion Network (IPN)

Priority tasks for the pilot version of the network - Gathering and dissemination of information on technologies and high technology products offered for transfer, and requests for them; - Innovative marketing, assistance to promotion of the technologies and the results of R&D in the market, and support of the processes of their transfer.

4. Network comprises organizations with functions of intermediaries in promotion of innovations and technology transfer. Network is open for organizations and enterprises not only from ICSTI member countries. Existing information and analytical resources of the members of the Network should be used. Practical technology promotion activities and concrete technology transfer projects. Principles of full confidence and partnership, but at the same time contractual basis. 5. IPN SERVICES (for pilot version) Assistance in adaptation of technologies, products and services to conditions of local markets, identification of local requirements for technologies or technological services; Search for investments and investment projects; Analysis of the innovation markets and consulting in the field of technologies, high-tech products and services; Expert assessment and technical audit of new technologies and high-tech products; Monitoring of patents for innovation technologies and products; Matchmaking services.

Formulate requests and offers in accordance with agreed forms; Carry out audit of loaded technological data – check offers/requests for technical consistency and readiness for promotion and transfer; Send ITI requests and offers to partner organizations in the Network; Receive from the network partners requests and offers for information or services for promotion and support of the transfer process, execute them or send them for their implementation. 11.  Bilingual international journal "Information and Innovations";  Business Office for innovation-technological enterprises and Internet Platform for networking, including: - Network databases; - Complex of educational-methodological materials for raising business qualifications;  Permanent exposition of innovative technologies from SMEs in ICSTI Headquarters;  Regular international business-meetings of the holders of technologies with potential buyers;  Important international events: seminars and conferences;  Training on various aspects of innovation activity. Directions of development : 1.Intensive attraction of materials to section «Technologies and High-Tech Products». 2.Regular subheadings with information from the focal points of IPN. 3.Subscription to the journal on a fee basis. 4.Advertising materials of innovative and technological character on a paid basis. 5.Gradual increase of the circulation of the journal up to 800 - 1000 copies. 6.Development and publication of an annual supplement to the journal.
