1. Overview of GCN/MCN/SCF GCN (Global Carribbean Network) a company in the Loret Group was selected by Guadeloupe Regional Council to Implement and manage the submarine cable network project. Investment of 25.4 M€. RFS July 2006. MCN (Middle Caribbean Network) Regional Council of Guadeloupe, Martinique, the European Union, ECTEL, the World Bank and the ACP Digital association agreed to extend the project to Martinique, with a branch to Dominica, thus creating MCN. Investment of 21 M€. RFS Dec 2006. SCF (Southern Caribbean Fiber) will complete the construction to Trinidad and purchase from GCN and MCN to resell entire regional capacity. Investment of 40 M€. RFS Q2 2007. Extensions to the North (Haiti / DR) and South (Guyana, Suriname & French Guyana) currently under negotiation.
