Meal Planning Learning Objectives: - To understand the Eatwell Plate. To know how to use the Eatwell plate to plan healthy and balanced meals.

What is the Eatwell Plate?

Plan a 1 day menu (breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks and drinks). Think about what would make a healthy and balanced menu using the Eatwell plate to help you. Ensure most of the foods come from Starchy Carbohydrates and Fruit/Vegetables, moderate amounts from Dairy and Proteins and small amounts from Fats/oils/sugary foods.

Include the main ingredients in each meal (e.g. not just Spaghetti Bolognese). If you finish early, you should illustrate your menu.
