Duties of an Associate 1. Assist on audits, reviews, compilations,etc. 2. Learn the technical skills and personal skills to be a senior associate (includes learning entire audit program) 3. Early and frequent interaction with clients

Duties of a Senior Associate Runs audits/engagements Trains new staff Coordinates communication with audit team and client Reviews work performed by associate

Duties of a Manager Provides more on-site supervision Runs audits of difficult/complex clients Reviews work of senior associate and associate (Final Review) Trains staff on various technical issues

Duties of a Senior Manager Part of Management of Firm Mentoring of staff Provides overall supervision of staff- (evaluate & train staff) Performs Final Reviews of Engagements Ensures all engagements are completed timely and efficiently Focus on Client Development

Day -to-Day Activities of an Associate 1. Be a part of a 2-4 person audit team 2. Typical audit engagements last 1 to 2 weeks….lots of variety! 3. Assigned sections of audit program/verification program to complete 4. Assist the senior associate in preparation of the audit and completion of the audit 5. Must communicate with team members and client personnel
