DISCUSSION GUIDE 8.What joyful announcement did Isaiah predict? (Isaiah 48:20-21) Isaiah predicted a new exodus. God would provide for them in the same way that he had provided for the Israelites in their exodus from Egypt.

1.God has taught us how to live and directed us in the way we should go but we chose to ignore his teaching. 2.If we had lived according to God’s commands we could experience peace like a river, righteousness like the waves of the sea and numerous descendants. This is what might have been. 3.God is our kinsman-redeemer. He has given us a second chance.
