3 To Atticus With having this time in jail I been thinking lately. It’s a few things I would like you to say to my family. First, I would like you to tell my wife that I miss her and that I love her very much. Also, tell my kids that if I don’t come back home then, to keep me in their thoughts. Atticus you have been a dang on good lawyer and friend, one of the nicest white folks around. I just want to tell you thank you and thanks for trying your best. From Tom

4 My side of this story never got told. I saw the whole thing when it happened. I was walking down the road just to get some fresh air, I walked to the edge of the woods like I do everyday too look at the clouds. I saw Miss Mayella sitting on the porch and then Tom walked down the street. Miss Mayella had yelled “ Hey Nigga, come help me with the chiffarobe,” he didn’t say nothing, he just walked up to the chiffarobe and when to work. I saw that his left arm didn’t look too good, but he looked like he had been used to it. After he was done she said she had work for him in the house, so Tom followed her in the house. She had some more chiffarobe for him to do, after he was done with that she had came real close to Tom’s face. From where I was at it looked like she had kissed Tom. I think she did because after she was close to him she jumped on Tom and Tom nicely pushed her off. I saw everything from the window until Mr.Ewell come around the corner and yelled “ Get off of him you whore.” After that I saw Tom ran all the way home, after I saw him ran I herd yelling from the house. Mr. Ewell had beat Miss Mayella until she couldn’t get up off the ground. When I saw Mr.Ewell I ran into the woods, I didn’t want to be the next one to get beat. - Boo Radley

5 Eulogy Um my name is Atticus Finch. I didn’t know Tom for a long period of time, but I knew the man. Tom was a nice man, um he was a good man. He wanted nothing but to keep his family and his wife happy. I know, you know, we all know Tom didn’t rape Mayella; but just because he was black he had to die for it. I tried to tell Tom to hold on while he was at the camp, I tried to tell him that maybe he would have just spend a little time in jail. I wish I could have saved him, but Tom took his own way and now he’s dead. I'm really sorry Mrs. Robinson, I wish you the best for you, and your family. Thank you.

6 Dear Reader We read To Kill A Mockingbird in class, I want to tell you my input on the book. I thought this book was very good, but also it was very touching. This book made me think on more so on how people feelings than mine. This book brought out the main problem most people face today in the world. There were a lot of themes in this book, but my favorite one was “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.” That’s what I focused my project on.
