8 Effects of Internet As of June 2014, only 42.3% of the world actually uses the internet. (87% in North America, 26% in Africa)  And yet, it affects:  Business practices, Information availability, Privacy,  Communication, Socialization, Media Can you name another medium that makes instant information, instant long-distance communication, and instant massive audience available to “the common man”?

11 Bandwidth Current advancement: 10s of megabits per second Almost free Whenever, wherever Significance:  Allows for off-phone computation and storage, via apps and cloud computing  Social networking (aka, more business opportunities)
