The Aborigines did! They came here 40,000 years ago, maybe 60,000 years ago. They did not make maps, they created Songlines all over Australia. As they walked, they sang about the environment and its sacred places. They sang creation stories about these places. Elders taught these Songlines to the younger ones so that they could find anywhere they wanted to go. Well, actually
