OBJECTIVE Use a planning tool to plan 4-H club activities.

Planning Club Programs Setting 4-H Club Goals Review the goals from the past year Gather input from youth and parents Consider the goals needed to renew your club charter Consider your county’s 4-H goals Keep goals simple Begin with easily attainable goals

Planning Club Programs ACTIVITY Creating a Club Plan Group of participants at your table Using the worksheet provided, work together to draft a sample plan for a 4-H community club.

Planning Club Programs REFLECTION Creating a Club Plan How was this planning tool useful to you? In what ways was this activity a challenge? Who do you think should be part of your planning process? What support do you need from your county 4-H educator to complete an annual 4-H club plan? When do you need that support?
