Analyzing Attitudes As a pair you will analyze a series of political cartoons to learn about various attitudes Americans held toward immigrants around the turn of the century. For each cartoon: –Sketch the missing portion –Answer the questions

Wrap Up What positive attitudes toward immigrants were depicted in the cartoons? What negative attitudes toward immigrants were depicted in the cartoons? What was the most difficult part of analyzing these cartoons? In what ways do you think American attitudes toward immigrants are similar today?
