Field Trip Plan Planning a field trip Field trip plan will consist of 4 parts Letter to parents (friendly, informative, well formatted, literate) Permission slip Parents itinerary Lesson plan (inquiry project done in the field) Instructor will pick 4-6 students to lead portions of the field trip on June 2 Field trip plan to be complete by 25 May

Unit plan/lessons plans 3 simple schedules of lessons in a logical sequence to teach about one topic in science or social studies. Use Unit Builder Five lessons in each unit that support these plans with lesson support documents such as: Images and artifacts Documents and web sites Maps and diagrams Activities and data recording instruments All added as links to your portfolio ppt Due week 5 (may be linked to artifact box)

Integration Unit plan and lesson plans may contain additional lesson extensions that stress the use of language arts

Final exam The final will consist of a presentation of one of your units to the class on the last day that we meet, June 3. The presentation will be of 20-25 minute duration and should include a demonstration of one of your activities from the unit.
