Pretty much any kind of file can be sent on email such as a photo or even a virus. .exe files are usually always viruses. (never open these even if you know the person) Sending or opening inappropriate attachments can get you in lots of trouble. It doesn’t matter why you’ve received or sent it, there’s always consequences.

You can send these forwarded messages to multiple people, 30+ even! Sending these types of messages can do harm though. These emails give out your personal email, giving any of those various people your friends’ emails. Not many people like these types of emails, so its in your best interest not to send them!

Flames are when someone sends a mean message or email. They are also considered illegal which means lots of trouble for the wrongdoer. The act of flaming is under the title of bullying. Nowadays, its not hard to find out who's behind the message.

Rule number one, never text back right away in anger. Remember, when a bully says something that’s hurtful to you, don’t play their games because that makes you just like them. Often, people regret sending theses messages because they weren't very well thought through. This can cause loss of friends and loss of respect.

You have to be at least 13 years of age to own a email. Consequences are a result of using email when not approved by an adult. It is against the law also to have an email at such young age. Schools are allowed to give students their own emails if approved by guardian.

Spam is a term for junk emails or pretty much an email you did not ask for. Should remain unopened. Most providers offer spam filters which usually catches most of it. You have to check the filter though because your normal emails may end up there.

All in all, you need to be safe while using the computer and when using email. I hope this has taught you well.
