Behavior Your best behavior and manners are expected at all times. You represent Oklahoma 4-H. Follow the directions of any 4-H chaperone with respect. Code of Conduct – you will be sent home when in violation. Observe the Dress Code. Be on time and participate in all scheduled activities

Behavior Be respectful of others on the floors, in common areas, during workshops and assemblies. Other people are staying in the same residence hall. Do not write, tape, paint or hang any thing in the window of your room. Do not dial random phone this will cause the call rolling to 911 and this will result in a fine and being sent home.

Dances Behavior Inappropriate behavior and dancing will not be tolerated. Use discretion

Safety First Do not throw things out windows – you will be sent home immediately! Keep room locked at all times. Do not leave valuables and money lying around. Use good judgment about giving out the phone number to your room. Do not leave your room after curfew except to go to the bathroom. Walk in groups on campus at night. No leaving campus. Severe weather – follow procedures in Roundup program.

Damages or Losses Each individual is responsible for damage to room or public area. Replace lost key is at least $45 Replace lost meal ticket/access card is at least $25

Nametags Wear nametags at ALL times Name tags should be hung around the delegates neck in plain sight. The nametag is your admission into all dances and events.

What do I pack? Personal items (toothbrush/paste, shampoo, deodorant, medication, make-up etc.) Bed linens, pillow and blankets are needed. Also bring bath towels and wash clothes. Clothes – Pack following dress code Snacks – bring snacks or change for vending machines Items for competitive events Posters for speeches, items for demonstrations, Fashion Review, Job Readiness, etc. Spending money –Pop machines –4-H store –Ordering pizza ($10 or $11) –Friday lunch

Inappropriate and Not Acceptable Dress The dress code will be monitored by a group of supervising adults. Persons not adhering to it will be asked to change. Western hats or caps worn in buildings, during programs or assemblies by 4-H members, educators or volunteers. Sweats or P.J.’s are not to be worn anywhere, except the delegate’s room or on the residence hall floor. For Opening Night Swim Activity – WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED Girls: Swim suit must be one piece or a two piece under a t-shirt. No midsection should be showing. Guys: Swim trunks (no cut-offs) When leaving the pool area, persons must be clothed (i.e. t-shirts/shorts, etc).

Snappy Casual Girls Slacks or jeans w/o holes or Slacks Shorts, skorts, and skirts (may not be shorter than your fingertips when standing straight with your arms at your side) Coordinated separates, dresses, blouses No Spaghetti straps (3 finger rule) Shirts showing midriffs or tank tops Spandex Miniskirts Guys Slacks or jeans w/o holes Shorts (appropriate length) Shirts with a collar or a t-shirt without a slogan. Casual shoes, nice tennis shoes or boots Ties are suggested for Job Readiness and Communications contests No Spandex Tank tops No caps or hats are to be worn inside buildings at any time.

When Do I Wear Professional/Dress Wear? Thursday evening activities –Honor Night Assembly –County Pictures –Dance (Jackets and tie may be removed prior to the dance.)
