1 How to Make Your Flipbook:
Take your 4 sheets of paper and stagger them so that there is enough space between two sheets of paper for you to write something. About ¼ inch. Put the two colors that are the same on top.

2 Now, fold the top of your papers so that they overlap to make 4 more flaps. You want your top flap to be as big as you can make it to maximize the space you have on the back of it. Staple them at the top. You should now have a flipbook!

3 BOOK OF QUADRILATERALS
Label your book like this: FAMILY TREE PARALLELOGRAMS RECTANGLES RHOMBI SQUARES TRAPEZOIDS KITES

4 PARALLELOGRAMS

5 Parallelograms Theorems (Ways to Prove)
Copy on the Parallelogram Flap Theorems (Ways to Prove) If both pairs of Opp. Sides are , then it’s a If both pairs of opp. s are , then it’s a If the diagonals bisect each other, then it’s a If both pairs of Opp. Sides are ll, then it’s a If one pair of sides are  and ll, then it’s a Properties Opposite sides are Opposite angles are Consecutive angles are The diagonals ll. . . supplementary. bisect each other. Parallelograms

6 RECTANGLES

7 Rectangles Properties All properties of the parallelogram.
Copy on the Rectangles Flap. Properties All properties of the parallelogram. The diagonals are . Four Right Angles Theorems (Ways to Prove) If the diagonals are , then it’s a rectangle. If it has 4 right angles, then it’s a rectangle. Rectangles

8 RHOMBUS

9 Rhombus Properties Theorems (Ways to Prove)
All properties of a parallelogram. All sides are equal. Diagonals are ┴. Diagonal bisect opposite angles. Theorems (Ways to Prove) If it has 4  sides, then it is a Rhombus. If the diagonals are ┴, then it is a Rhombus. If the diagonal bisects each pair of opposite angles, then it is a Rhombus. Rhombus

10 SQUARES

11 Properties All the properties of a Parallelogram, a Rectangle, and a Rhombus Ways to Prove: 1. If it is a rectangle and a rhombus, then it is a square. 45o 1 1 √2 Notice you create Triangles!!! Remember: 1:1:√2 Squares
