Step 1 score: Competitive candidates >235 Step 2 Recommended Honors designations/Awards –AOA –National awards Research experience –Publications and presentations at national meetings are important Interview matters!

Kyle Anderson, Urology, ANDE1821@umn.edu A day in the life of: –Resident Hours – 12 hr days Call – 1 in 3 or 4. Home call Hours work per week – 60-80 –Doctor 2 clinic days, 3 OR days per week 6:30/7:00am – 5:00/7:00pm Call 1 week out of 6.
