4. Gray Wolves live in packs with up to 8 to 35 of wolves included. The leader of each pack is known as the “Alpha”. Gray wolves mate for life, They mate in the winter and 9 weeks later, baby pups are born. The number of pups can range from 2 – 14. the pups are born blind. Other female wolves help take care of each others young.

5. They are presently spread out Over Michigan's UP, Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin and a large range in Alaska, Canada, Middle East and Asia. They inhabit a variety of biomes in North America including Boreal Forest, temperate deciduous forest and temperate grassland.
