7. When the Sun, Moon,and Earth are lined up during a new or full moon, The tide waters go up and down more than normal.

8. When the Sun, Earth and Moon make a right angle at first or last quarter, The ocean water is being pulled in all directions so the tides are smaller.

10. Each month there are two neap tides and two spring tides.

11. During spring tide, the water gets deeper at high tide and shallower at low tide than during a neap tide.
