2. Habitat  Grizzly bears are found in western Canada, Alaska, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, and Washington.

3. Appearance  The grizzly bear is large and has a concave face.  It has long claws that are bout the length of a human finger.  They are usually dark brown.

4. Food  Grizzly bear can smell from miles away.  They are omnivorous.  Grizzly bear eats moose, caribou and elk.

5. Young  The grizzly bear has 1 to 3 cubs.  They are born in January or February.

6. Threats  People are the biggest threat to grizzly bears.
