In an emergency situation, a few crucial items in your survival kits can make all the difference in your chance for survival. Everyone embarking on a wilderness trip should carry a survival kit. While it is entirely possible to assemble your own kit, there are a number of commercially produced kits. Be sure that your survival kit meets your specific needs and the wilderness environment that you are venturing into.

Their huge bodies are covered with short dark brown fur. They have large ears and a long square face. A flap of skin known as a bell sways beneath the throut.

5. What do they eat Moose are herbivores. They eat twigs, bark, roots and the shoots of woody plants. They prefer to eat willows and aspens. In the warm months, moose feed on water plants, water lilies, pondweed, and horsetails. In winter, moose browse on conifers (evergreen trees).

6. There behavior is Moose are active throughout the day with activity peaks during dawn and dusk. Moose are good swimmers and can be found in and around streams. They move swiftly on land - running at speeds up to 35 miles per hour. They are able to trot steadily at 20 miles per hour (which is faster than the average man can run).

8. A little bit about grizzly Bears Bears As winter approaches, brown bears—often called grizzly bears—prepare for a long hibernation. During the fall, a brown bear eats practically around the clock, stocking up for the four to seven months when it'll have to live off stored body fat. A grizzly may chow down on 90 pounds (40 kilograms) of food each day.
